Press Release: "Entertainment Tonight!" 2019 Gala at Cotuit Center for the Arts

Entertainment Tonight! Cotuit Center for the Arts’ annual fundraiser, will be held Tuesday, July 9, from 5:30 to 10:30 PM, at the Center.

The Gala will feature an over-the-top stage show highlighting the best of the 2018-2019 season, a feast of food stations and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a complimentary full-service bar, live and silent auctions, interactive crowd entertainment, and a dance party with DJ Ian Lee.

“Entertainment Tonight! is the party of the year—a thoroughly fun and entertaining fundraiser that helps us keep high-quality arts programming right here in our community,” said David Kuehn, executive director of the arts center.

General admission is $125. A VIP Package upgrade is available for $225, which includes premier reserved table seating with champagne, and preferred parking, with parking passes mailed out in advance. In addition, VIPs will have a dedicated line at check-in.

Cotuit Center for the Arts is an award-winning, dynamic arts and cultural center that provides free and paid programming throughout the year, including art exhibits, theatrical productions, musical events, educational programs, and numerous other events. Over 30,000 people attend events at the center each year.

The center’s ticket sales and other earned income, such as class tuitions, facility rentals, and concessions, generate less than half of the operating expenses of the center. To make up the shortfall, the center relies on donations and fundraising events, including the annual Entertainment Tonight! Gala.
