CLASSES
The Center offers a wide range of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our instructors are experienced artists and educators, and we strive to create a friendly and welcoming environment for all students. Classes are limited to a certain number of attendees to optimize the classroom experience. New classes are added frequently, so check our website often!

Classes generally run from six to eight weeks. Lengths of classes are noted in class descriptions on our website.
Workshops are generally one- to four-day intensive art instruction.
On-going classes repeat weekly or monthly. Please check our website for any exclusion dates.
Summertime and vacation kids’ classes
typically run Monday-Friday, rather than weekly.

Older teenagers are welcome in some adult classes. Please check with us before registering.
The Center complies with the Massachusetts CORI regulations regarding teachers and others working with children.

STATEMENT OF WELCOME
We are a welcoming home -- this is part of our mission. And we are so grateful that you are here!
We continuously aim to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community where each member is seen, respected, and empowered to contribute. An environment that welcomes and supports all students and instructors and is free of prejudice or intolerance of any kind.

LOCATION & PARKING
Occasionally a class may need to be moved to another location, flexibility is encouraged.

Art Studio is located between our Black Box theater and Main Building on the right side as you enter our parking lot.
Black Box Upstairs
is located in the first building on the right of our campus, upstairs.
Schoolhouse
is located at the back of our campus down the pathway, follow signs, enter through front door ramp entrance.
Gallery is located in the Main Building.

Parking and drop-off/pick-up for the Schoolhouse is located near the Administration Building at the rear of our lot. If you are a student who requires easy access to the Schoolhouse because of the distance from the parking lot, there is a reserved space directly in front of the Schoolhouse on Savinelli Road. All other students should park in our main lot.

REGISTRATION
Students must pay at time of registration to be considered enrolled. Register early to reserve your spot (see: Cancellation Policy).
Students may register online on our website, by phone at 508.428.0669, or in person at our Box Office.

MATERIALS
Some classes include a materials list, which appears within the class website listing. It is the student’s responsibility bring these required materials to the first class.
Some classes require a lab fee for materials provided by the instructor, paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the first class.
Contact the teacher directly for clarification on materials questions.

CANCELLATION
Occasionally we do have to cancel classes at the Center despite our best efforts. Reasons for class cancellation include but are not limited to: low enrollment (classes typically need 4 students to run), instructor cancellation, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We are dedicated to letting students know in a timely manner when class cancellation happens primarily through email or phone contact. We promise not to cancel a class outside these circumstances because we are committed to providing high quality classes for our students and for our instructors.

If a class is canceled due to weather or another unpredictable event, the class will be rescheduled or the remaining class sessions will be extended to make up for missed time, typically the week after the class was initially going to end.
