Get ready for Second Summer Cycle with a fun and relaxed weekly training ride!

Starting Memorial Day weekend, riders will meet every Saturday morning at 8:00 AM for an easy 20-mile round-trip ride along the beautiful Shining Sea Bikeway.

We’ll meet at the trailhead near the intersection of Route 151 and Route 28A in North Falmouth and ride 10 miles to Woods Hole. Once there, we’ll stop for coffee, snacks, and conversation before heading back.

This is a casual, welcoming ride open to all who would like to train together and enjoy the ride.  Starting Location

Please note: if it is raining on Saturday, the ride is often switched to Sunday.

For more information, please text Kathie Nutting at 603-738-2986.

VOLUNTEER FOR THE RIDE

DONATE!

Thank you to everyone who made our 2025 Second Summer Cycle such a success. Team Cotuit showed up in force—with 52 riders raising over $60,000 to support Cotuit Center for the Arts. That kind of community impact makes a real difference in keeping the arts accessible and vibrant across Cape Cod.

Now we’re gearing up for an even stronger 2026 ride—and we’d love to have you with us.

Second Summer Cycle continues to grow as Cape Cod’s premier charity bike ride, bringing together riders, volunteers, and supporters to benefit dozens of local nonprofits. The event is designed to be welcoming, well-supported, and meaningful for everyone involved.

What’s new (and better) for this year:

  • The same start and finish location at Smugglers Beach—no complicated logistics
  • A new 15-mile ride option, making participation more accessible than ever
  • Training rides across the Cape  to help you get ready and connect with fellow riders
  • Continued focus on rider safety, with route support, hydration stops, and on-course assistance

Second Summer Cycle is the perfect event for riders of all levels, offering a picturesque journey through 8 historic Cape Cod towns and a strong commitment to rider safety. Four distances are being offered, 15, 34, 60, and 100 miles. The start and finish is at beautiful Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth where there will be a Finish Line Celebration from 12PM-4PM, including local beer, food trucks and live music.

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started, there’s a route—and a community—waiting for you.

Please consider joining our team or making a donation -- every rider (and dollar) helps! Learn more about Second Summer Cycle and the Cotuit Center for the Arts Team here.
