Class Description
Experience painting as a mindful experience. Each class will start with a short meditative exercise, such as mindful breathing or a guided meditation, to strengthen concentration and calm our internal dialogue. Students will explore color and mark-making through various materials and techniques with the intention of learning to cultivate their own unique artistic voice. This class is for both those who are new to art, and experienced artists who want to open up their creativity and enhance their focus. We'll be using a combination of water based paints, inks and drawing materials. This class can get messy, so plan on wearing old clothes or bringing your own smock.
