Experiment with natural patterns and mindful making through this hands-on workshop focused on cyanotypes! This class will explore the basics of cyanotype printing techniques with fabric and paper to create a series of prints and cotton fabric patches. Participants will capture shadows through cyanotype printing, utilizing seasonally foraged plants of the region as well as everyday objects to print with. Join us to experiment with this cameraless photographic printmaking process as a way to connect to the season and objects around us, helping to capture elements of time, place, history, and meaning through unique prints. All materials are provided, and participants may bring their own objects to print with as well.

Open to adults & youth (ages under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). No experience with any techniques are necessary to join, and all are welcome!
