This season, Cotuit Center for the Arts is turning once again to our incredible community — you — to help us take care of the behind-the-scenes systems that make all the magic happen.

Imagine walking into a performance and... freezing in your seat mid-scene or melting under a spotlight. Not exactly the kind of drama anyone wants! Our HVAC and lighting systems are nearly 30 years old-heroes in their day, but now they're on their last act. These are the unsung stars that keep our theaters warm in winter, cool in summer, and bright for every class, concert, and performance in between.

Replacing them will cost $1,000,000, and thanks to a generous early gift, we've already taken the first step toward this important upgrade. Now, we need your help to bring the rest of this performance to a standing ovation.

Your 2025 Annual Appeal donation will play a vital dual role: half will support the day-to-day programs that keep the Center thriving, and half will help launch our Capital Campaign to replace and modernize our HVAC and lighting systems. Together, these upgrades will ensure Cotuit Center for the Arts remains a comfortable, sustainable, and inspiring home for creativity for the next 30 years and beyond.

Our Galleries Bright and Inviting

Each year, Cotuit Center for the Arts welcomes thousands of visitors into our galleries to experience the work of local, regional, and national artists. From community-curated exhibits to juried shows and themed installations, our galleries celebrate creativity in all its forms providing a platform for emerging talent and established artists alike. Your support keeps the lights on, the walls filled, and the doors open to everyone who comes to be inspired.

Performances on Stage, Music in the Air

This year alone, Cotuit's stages have hosted more than a hundred performances from sold- out plays and musicals to intimate concerts. Each production brings together actors, musicians, technicians, and audiences who share in the joy of live performance. Your gift helps us maintain the spaces where laughter, applause, and music fill the air, ensuring every seat feels as warm and welcoming as the art itself.

Classes and Workshops Flourishing

From pottery and painting to dance and music, Cotuit's classrooms are alive with creativity year-round. Hundreds of students of all ages discover new skills and confidence here, guided by dedicated instructors who foster curiosity and expression. Your contribution helps us provide quality materials, safe and comfortable studio spaces, and opportunities that make the arts accessible to all.

Outreach Programs Bringing Art to Every Corner of Cape Cod

Our mission extends beyond the walls of the Center through programs like CapeCodCAN, the Art Bus, and collaborative partnerships with local nonprofits. Cotuit brings the transformative power of the arts to those who might not otherwise experience it. In fact, over 3,000 people off campus also enjoy and benefit from our wonderful art programs. Your generosity helps us share that warmth — one class, concert, and creative spark at a time.
