Tedi’s experience includes producing three prior productions of Evita, and she brings her unique vision and expertise to this staging.
The production will feature a dynamic ensemble, offering performers the chance to tackle exciting and challenging repertoire in musical theater. Ensemble members will shine in thrilling numbers such as “Buenos Aires,” “A New Argentina,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In.”
Why Evita? Why Now?
Evita explores themes of ambition, resilience, and the complexities of leadership—topics that remain profoundly relevant today. Eva Perón’s journey from poverty to political power resonates as a story of hope and determination, while also challenging audiences to reflect on the costs of fame and influence.
At Cotuit Center for the Arts, we believe in creating opportunities for dialogue through storytelling. This production will honor the cultural and historical significance of the piece while engaging our community in meaningful ways.
