14th Annual Ukulele Festival
Get ready to strum, sing, and smile! Cotuit Center for the Arts is thrilled to present our 14th Annual Ukulele Festival, a joyful, holiday-themed celebration of one of the world’s friendliest instruments.
This beloved annual tradition features some of the Cape’s most talented ukulele players, performing an eclectic mix of holiday favorites, pop hits, and feel-good classics. The evening will conclude with the much-loved “Uke-A-Long” finale, inviting everyone with a ukulele to join the performers on stage for a rousing group performance you won’t forget.
The festival is once again organized by Steve Gregory, owner of Score Music in Sandwich and longtime ukulele teacher at Cotuit Center for the Arts. A passionate advocate for the instrument, Steve loves how the uke brings people together:
“It’s a nice, friendly, affordable folk instrument that is easy and comfortable to play,” he says. “It appeals to all ages—I’ve had students as young as 4 and into their 80s. Being on stage with 45 or 50 people all playing and singing together is an intense, profound experience.”
Whether you’re a seasoned strummer, a beginner, or simply a fan of the ukulele’s cheerful charm, the Ukulele Festival is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Admission: $20 – FREE if you bring a ukulele and join the onstage “Uke-A-Long” finale.
