We would like to thank Martha and Paul Ross, whose generous support helps keep live music thriving on Cotuit’s stages.
The Buoys of Summer pay tribute to the smooth-sailing, silk-stocking SoCal sounds of the 70s and early 80s.
Characterized by memorable melodies and polished production, this music often features a breezy tempo, with simple lyrics flowing through a gentle current, and Michael McDonald on backing vocals. Acts like Kenny Loggins, the Doobie Brothers, and Steely Dan define the genre, along with hits by less prolific artists, like Ace, Rupert Holmes, and Ambrosia.
Weather Policy for Outdoor Events
We love hosting events under the open sky — but unfortunately, Mother Nature doesn’t always RSVP. If the forecast looks too wet, wild, or windy, we may have to cancel.
There’s no shelter in the backyard (umbrellas don’t count), so for everyone’s comfort and safety, we’ll make a final call by 12 noon on the day of the event. In the event of a cancellation due to weather, the show will be rescheduled, if possible. CCFTA will contact all ticket holders directly.
