Christine Lavin
Described by The New York Times as “a garrulous comic observer of contemporary manners,” Christine Lavin is a true force in modern folk and cabaret. An ASCAP Book Award winner and five-time ASCAP Composer Award recipient, she’s collaborated with cultural icons across science, literature, and music, and her songs have been performed on Broadway and Off-Broadway by voices like Betty Buckley and Sutton Foster.
She’s also the creative engine behind nationally touring shows such as On a Winter’s Night and Four Bitchin’ Babes!, and her sharp, joyful songs have earned praise from The New Yorker, The Washington Post, and beyond.
“Wildly entertaining!” — The New Yorker
John Forster
A favorite of NPR’s Morning Edition, John Forster’s clever, heartfelt songwriting has fueled Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, children’s albums (with four Grammy nominations), and beloved books for young readers. His songs have been performed by artists ranging from Judy Collins and Rosanne Cash to Faith Hill.
The late Tom Lehrer once quipped, “You don’t need me to kick around anymore—now you have John Forster!”—high praise from a comic songwriting legend.
Carla Ulbrich
With her viral “CPAP Song” topping one million views, Carla Ulbrich has become one of the most celebrated comic songwriters working today. A favorite of the BBC, NPR, and SiriusXM, she’s known for razor-sharp wit, fearless humor, and extraordinary guitar work.

David Buskin and Robin Batteau bring decades of musical friendship, harmony, and joy to the stage. Known for their sophisticated folk sound and genre-spanning careers—from iconic covers to unforgettable jingles—the duo has earned acclaim from The New York Times, Joni Mitchell, and Bonnie Raitt.
Robin Batteau’s remarkable journey back to Harvard after a 53-year hiatus inspired a new body of work blending ancient Greek lyric poetry with contemporary song—proof that curiosity, creativity, and humor only deepen with time.
