COOL is a word with endless meanings and moods. It can be a temperature, an attitude, a style, a sound, or a feeling. It can be subtle or bold, effortless or electric. This open juried exhibition invites artists to explore cool in all its forms—visual, emotional, cultural, and conceptual.

What does cool mean to you?
Is it found in the quiet blues and silvers of winter light, the calm confidence of minimal design, or the expressive power of music, language, and rhythm? Perhaps it lives in nostalgia, irony, restraint, rebellion, or the unmistakable pull of something that simply feels right.

Artists are encouraged to interpret COOL broadly and personally. Submissions may reflect cool colors, cool temperatures, cultural cool, emotional distance, effortless style, or moments of calm clarity. From playful to profound, abstract to representational, this exhibition celebrates the many ways cool can be seen, felt, and imagined.

Across all media and approaches, COOL welcomes work that captures a sense of ease, intrigue, freshness, or quiet confidence—art that resonates without trying too hard.
