Nature’s Geometry
The Covid pandemic created a time of turbulence and solitude. I embraced the unexpected freedom it generated, allowing me the ability to move past the forced isolation and towards a more physical link with the environments around me.
My project began simply with the desire to be in nature and emerge with a sense of balance and remembrance of better times.
“Nature’s Geometry” visualizes an abstract reality, a meditative immersion into the tapestry of nature. The form-based images began to explore the balance of energy and harmony within the reflected connections.
I chose Black and White to remove the distractions of color and concentrate on created form. The study directs an immersion, a pause, into the intrinsic symmetry on display within nature’s designs.
