2026 Member Student Faculty Exhibition

Details:

Exhibition Dates: November 14 – December 27, 2026.

Opening Reception: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 5-7pm

Submission Guidelines:

Open to any current Cotuit Center for the Arts (CCftA) student, member, or faculty member.
Limit of one piece per artist with no submission fee.
Artwork size limit: Maximum 24” in any direction.
Drop-off on or before Monday, November 9th, 2024 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Commission Structure: 40% to CCftA and 60% to the artist for sold artwork.
Unsold Artwork Pick-Up: Monday, December 28, 2024 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

The 2026 Carol Sandler Award of Excellence

As part of the exhibition, the CCftA Curatorial Committee will select one artist’s work to be the recipient of the annual Carol Sandler Award of Excellence.

The award, accompanied by a prize in the amount amount of $500, has been endowed by the family of Carol Sandler, who was long-time board member and contributing artist at Cotuit Center for the Arts. We are proud to honor her memory.

The selection of the award is based on these criteria:

Creativity and Originality - Work that breaks from the ordinary, blurs the boundaries between genres, and challenges notions of how a particular concept or emotion can be expressed.
Craftsmanship and Technical Skill - Work that uses technique to advance an original perspective or a personal vision or voice, and shows skills being utilized to create something unique, powerful, and innovative.
Emergence of a Personal Vision or Voice - Work with an authentic and unique point of view and style.
Overall the artwork shall stand on its own as a complete and outstanding work of art.
