Metamorphoses

Generous support for our main stage theater productions at Cotuit Center for the Arts is graciously provided in tribute to John McGraw

Experience the transformative world of Metamorphoses, directed by Jason Mellin. This theatrical masterpiece by Mary Zimmerman is inspired by Ovid’s timeless myths, and masterfully blends contemporary themes with classical tales, bringing stories of love, loss, and redemption to life. With its captivating combination of poetic language and breathtaking visual storytelling, Metamorphoses immerses audiences in an otherworldly experience where gods and mortals collide and the boundary between reality and myth is beautifully blurred. This evocative production will stir the soul and ignite the imagination—an evening that redefines the power of storytelling.
