Life from both ends of the lead

A dog run in Central Park. Two strangers. One hyperactive border collie puppy. And two dog park denizens tired of the daily routine of their urban lives.

Bark Park is Jim Dalglish's acclaimed two-act comedy about people, dogs, and what we're all really looking for on the other side of the fence.

Part One: Sarah Jessica

Part One turns the fence line into a battlefield of first impressions between two people. One is a driven, ambitious newcomer. The other is the self-appointed mayor of the Strawberry Fields dog run. Neither is looking for company — until a puppy who won't behave keeps throwing them together.

Part Two: The Wild Ones

Part Two slips the leash entirely and hands the stage to the dogs. Truman and Jimmy follow their instincts off the path and straight into a question we all face: what does freedom actually cost?

Back by Popular Demand

Bark Park had its world premiere at Cotuit Center for the Arts in 2014 and was named one of the Cape Cod Times' favorite productions of the year. Written and directed by Jim Dalglish.

Innovative Casting

Here's the twist that makes Bark Park unlike anything else on the Cape — it's performed in rotating casting configurations, so it's a genuinely different production every night. Come once for the comedy. Come back to see it reinvented.
