Wine & Music Wednesday

Join us for a splendid selection of wines and entertainment!

Wine and Music Wednesday is an open house held on the third Wednesday of the month (May-October) with wine tasting and live music.

The first event was held in March of 2010 and it has become a very popular event at the Center. It’s the perfect way to end your day, start your evening, or just join friends for a night out looking at terrific art.

$10 at the door per person, $5 for members.

Dr. Steve Spillane, Piano, Voice, Songwriting, and Conducting

Steve has played piano since he was 5 years old, played clarinet in grade school while singing with the chorus. He majored in music at UMass Boston and studied piano and voice. His advisor was Laurence Berman, a former student of Nadia Boulanger in Paris.  He has performed at Jordan Hall, Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall and Tanglewood as a member of the Boston Concert Opera and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He was a pianist for students of the Stamford Ballet. In addition, Steve played solo piano at the Sheraton Hotel in Andover, and at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Now retired, he and his wife sing with the Saint Peter's Episcopal Church choir in Osterville.

Steve earned a Master's in Education and a doctorate at the University of Connecticut in Educational Psychology and has taught at several universities. He is a published author on learning disabilities and is internationally recognized for his ability to connect to a variety of students while promoting a love of learning, music and the arts.
