Class Description
Get ready to bring something handmade to the table. In this intermediate handbuilding class, students will create ceramic serving pieces designed for summer gatherings, dinner parties, backyard snacks, and everything in between.
From serving trays and individual crudité plates to small dishes, platters, and playful party pieces, this class will focus on making functional ceramics that are as fun to use as they are to create. Students will explore form, surface, and thoughtful design while building pieces meant for sharing food, conversation, and good company.
Perfect for students with some clay experience who want to loosen up, make useful work, and create pieces that are ready for their next summer table.
