Class Description
Students will learn the basics of foil saggar firing while experimenting with materials such as seaweed, straw, sawdust, copper wire, salt, and used coffee grounds to influence the finished surface. Participants will have the opportunity to prepare and fire a few small bisque pieces throughout the day and discover how heat, smoke, and combustion create beautiful and unexpected results.
